Animal Emergency Care wants you to join our medical team to accommodate our expanding patient load! We strive to provide compassionate care and quality service, delivered by a team of dedicated professionals practicing state-of-the-art veterinary medicine, to all Whatcom county families, their pets and corresponding referral veterinarians.
Our hours of operation are from 6:00 PM - 8:00 AM Monday through Thursday and from 6:00 PM Friday - 8:00 AM Monday and 24 hours on six major holidays. We exclusively practice emergency medicine. Our philosophy is to to act as a tool for the community to utilize, so everyone can rest easily. This may sound scary, but many of our employees enjoy multiple days off consecutively each week!

A successful career with Animal Emergency Care requires:
Active Washington State Veterinary License (renewal paid by employer)
DEA License (renewal paid by employer)
4+ Years Veterinary Experience, Preferably Experience with Emergency Work

Additional Salary Information: Animal Emergency Care is offering a $5000 signing bonus for the qualified candidate! Salary consists of a negotiable, hourly wage without commission. Animal Emergency Care focuses on a collaborative approach toward patient care.
