We are seeking a staff veterinarian for a position within our group practice. While experience is preferred, we will consider exceptional new graduates that seek to practice in a group that offers mentoring and sharing. Tenth Street Animal Hospital, PC is the leading multi-clinic practice in Pitt County, with 3 fully equipped hospitals. All three of our facilities are AAHA certified hospitals. Our practices have digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, and digital endoscopy in addition to full Idexx in-house diagnostic equipment.
We also would be interested in discussing opportunities for a veterinary internist or surgeon within our group. Compensation would be contingent on experience and training.
Our practice is owned by 3 partners, each of whom manage one of our clinics, and we employ 12 veterinarians between the 3 hospitals. Salary and benefits are based on a combination of experience and production, with excellent benefits. After hours emergencies are referred to a local Emergency Clinic. The ideal candidate will combine outstanding communication skills with excellent clinical skills and an outgoing personality. Partnership opportunities are available for the right candidate in the future. Relocation allowance and signing bonus negotiable.
Greenville is home to East Carolina University and is located approximately one hour east of Raleigh and 1.5 hours from the beaches. East Carolina University is the home of the Brody School of Medicine, a Dental School, Nursing School in addition to many other liberal arts studies such as Music, Art, Theater and Education.

Additional Salary Information: Benefits include:
•Base Salary is determined by schedule and experience.
•Veterinarians can earn a quarterly bonus each quarter. Bonuses are earned when production exceeds base pay.
oProduction numbers are calculated quarterly and shared with each veterinarian.
•Veterinarians are allowed 20 vacation days per year (with a 4 day work week, that could allow for up to 4-5 weeks off per year depending on scheduling). ** Time off affects production, so it is recommended to spread time off across all 4 quarters.
•Each veterinarian is allowed $2,000.00 towards continuing education and travel. Funds can be used at the veterinarian’s discretion.
•All professional dues and subscriptions are paid by the company.
