Advanced Veterinary Care of Utah is hiring for a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to provide clinical services and support for our specialty practice in Salt Lake City, UT. The selected applicant will be expected to provide emergency consultation and treatment services. Advanced Veterinary Care is a part of the Veterinary Specialty Center of Utah, a dynamic multi-specialty group which includes emergency, critical care, oncology, surgery, ophthalmology and dermatology. Along with boarded doctors in each of these departments, the selected candidate will join 7 other emergency doctors to help support each department. This position is full-time, salaried and has the potential for production-based compensation. The hospital also offers an excellent compensation package including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, and CE allowance among many others. Advanced Veterinary Care was established in Salt Lake City in 2008 as the first specialty practice in Salt Lake City. We are located in the heart of Salt Lake City in the foothills of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. Utah offers world renowned outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, skiing and snowboarding. AVC is a very integrated practice that seeks candidates should have strong communication skills, an energetic attitude, empathy, compassion and enthusiasm for helping clients and patients alike. In addition to our consultation services, our spacious hospital offers an MRI, CT, digital radiography, two ultrasounds, laparoscopy/endoscopy, an in-house blood bank, and a CE conference room for in house training and meetings. We are a very integrated practice that utilizes a team approach to case consultation and management. Our doctors work closely to provide optimal patient care, compassionate client service, and open dialogue with referring veterinarians.
