Visiting Assistant Professor of Veterinary Technology @ UC Blue Ash
The Veterinary Technology Department at the University of Cincinnati, Blue Ash College, is now accepting applications for a one-year, full-time, 12 month, Visiting Assistant Professor position, which will begin August 15, 2019.
Primary responsibilities to include teaching full-time course load which is 12-18 didactic and laboratory contact hours per week. Course responsibilities will include a variety of delivery methods (in-person, hybrid or online) and will include day and evening classes, as well as teaching in all three academic terms (fall, winter, summer). In addition, the position includes providing animal health care needs including routine surgical procedures and dentistry, managing and participating in off-site clinical experiences with students, and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited College of Veterinary Medicine and be licensed to practice in the state of Ohio. A minimum of five (5) years clinical veterinary experience is required, including experience in the areas of clinical diagnostic medicine, anesthesia, dentistry and routine surgical procedures.
