Associate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Job Description:
Perform thorough physical exams with appropriate comprehensive diagnostic recommendations and excellent client education.
Professional appearance and attitude with consistent punctuality and timely completion of medical records.
Reliable prompt call backs to owners concerning laboratory results and client messages/concerns.
Interpret laboratory results, diagnostic imaging and patient referral reports in application to patients and clinical practice.
Proficient in the following surgeries in canines and felines: ovariohysterectomy (including while pregnant or in estrus), caesarian surgery, neuter, cryptorchid neuter, cystotomy, soft tissue mass removal, ear hematoma management, enucleation, dental extractions, feline declaw, digit amputation, tail amputation, abdominal exploratory, fine needle aspirates, wound repairs and other surgical procedures decided appropriate by medical director.
Practice to an excellent standard of care.
Motivated to learn with up to date continuing education requirements.
Job Requirements for the Associate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine:
Completed DVM degree from accredited university
Active license to practice medicine within the specific state
