The Market Development Manager (MDM) is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and for actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers within the Adjacent Markets (ADJM) Central NA.

The MDM is the primary external representative of Radiometer and must convey a sense of expertise in Radiometer products, services and capabilities and serve as a key educator to our customer business accounts (Emergency Vet Hospitals, GPs, BioPharma, Academic Institutions)
Grow market share by winning competitive accounts and establishing NEW customers
Develop strategic references to utilize in leveraging new business and growth initiatives.
Grow sales to “own ADJM” in assigned territories with value selling.
Update CRM/ maintain and accurately forecast a robust 30-60-90 day sales funnel.
Drive ADJM Funnel Development using sales process focused on conversions
Support Special BD Projects when assigned
Grow share in Samplers & Aqure
Sales Process and Business Growth:
Develop Strong Pipeline within defined ADJMs, achieving assigned unit/revenue annual targets
Create strong links to and collaborate with Key Opinion leaders within Vet community.
Leverage install bases and relationships across products within Radiometer as well as across other Danaher operating companies.
Own and drive new product introduction within New Market Segments (Vet Segment)
Own and drive pricing and contracts coordination where relevant in ADJM per SOP
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
a) Position Specific Competencies / Experience
Strong understanding Veterinary Dx and patient care
Bachelor’s degree required, science major preferred but not required
Primary language English
PC environment, mid-level or greater MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); mid-level or greater internet skills; Smartphone; database and CRM competency, Expert level knowledge in AQM, Aqure Software.e) Travel (required estimated % of time)
TRAVEL: 50% or greater; some overnight travel 80% US Travel
Participation in the Company’s automobile program is a requirement of this position. You will receive a company car to conduct company business in accordance with the program provided that you meet the eligibility requirements of the program.
Location: Houston, Dallas, Denver, St Louis, Chicago- Must be < 1 hr from major airport
Additional Salary Information: Bonus/Commissions $55,500 Variable paid Monthly- based on performance
