We are a well- established, well-equipped facility with a highly skilled support staff.  We currently provide veterinary care for dogs and cats.  We are committed to providing the highest standard of quality professional care in veterinary medicine to our patients.  In addition to wellness exams, we offer vaccinations, and preventive care.  We also provide digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, dental and surgical procedures.  We have a relationship with an internist who provides in house ultrasounds and consultations with a rapid turnaround time.

Our team focuses on providing the best medicine possible while striving for excellent customer service.  We work hard to educate the client and we treat them as if they were our family. 

VCA Hawthorn Animal Hospital is located on US Hwy 45 in Vernon Hills, Illinois, about 37 miles from Chicago.  We are just south of the Illinois Wisconsin border and are surrounded by quaint little towns such at Libertyville and Long Grove and Lincolnshire, which plays host to a performing arts theatre.  We are 20 minutes from Six Flags Amusement Park in Gurnee.  As you can see there is plenty to do in our area.
