Veterinarian at Westfield Animal Hospital in Westfield, New Jersey - AAHA accredited; PT or FT!
Westfield Animal Hospital
Westfield Animal Hospital is looking for a full or part-time Veterinarian to join our team. Westfield Animal Hospital in Westfield, New Jersey is an AAHA accredited, full service small animal hospital. We treat primarily dogs and cats, but our medical director, Dr. Anthony Loomis, also treats exotic animals. Our hospital offers a home town feel, while being fully equipped with all of the necessary equipment to perform thorough workups and treat complex cases, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, an in house lab, and ultrasound. At Westfield we work as a team, which allows us to manage a busy schedule, while having fun and practicing the best medicine. Our support staff have been trained in Fear Free handling, enabling the best experience for the pet, client, and you. This is why we are one of the most well-respected practices in the area. You can learn more about our hospital at: https://westfieldanimal.com/ and https://www.facebook.com/westfieldanimal/. Our ideal candidate has several years of experience and is comfortable with surgery and dentistry. Our schedule needs are flexible, but we would like someone interested in working Monday and/or Tuesday. If you are interested in working full time, we could accommodate a full time schedule at Westfield, or you could work part-time at Westfield and part-time at our sister hospital Plainfield Animal Hospital (https://www.plainfieldanimalhospital.com/). Located a quick train ride away New York City and with easy access to Newark Airport, this central Union County town offers characteristics typically associated with urban living — a bustling downtown, a vibrant cultural scene and good transportation options — along with many benefits of suburban living, like attractive homes, well-regarded schools, and a sense of community. At Westfield, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance and additional PTO for CE, and reimbursement for membership dues and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Dr. Shelly Wazyniak at swazyniak@petvetcarecenters.com.
