We are seeking an overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing Pacific Heights team due to high community demand. This established AAHA hospital has provided exceptional patient and client care in the Pacific Heights neighborhood for decades and is the receiving hospital for our sister campus in the Mission District. Our 24-hour emergency services are closely integrated with general practice services. With a robust financial assistance program, Veterinarians can provide care for many patients that would otherwise have to be turned away. The ability to provide these services to our local community in need leads to immense professional and emotional gratification for our staff veterinarians. To support you we offer a wide range of diagnostics and treatment options including ultrasound (stand-alone and point-of-care), flexible videoscopy, rigid videoscopy, video otoscopy, digital radiography, LigaSure, Nova electrolyte/chemistry analyzer, and IDEXX in-house laboratory suite among others.
Why us? Since 1868, the San Francisco SPCA has led San Francisco to its present status as one of the most humane cities in the world. We are always looking to expand our abilities, services, and patient care on a daily basis. We accomplished this through dedication, innovation, and collaboration; and we’re looking to hire bright, passionate people who embrace those values.
