We are currently seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our Winding Hill family team! We have been proudly serving our community since 1981 and have been chosen a “Simply the Best” Veterinary Clinic for over a decade! Due to our growth and remodel, we are looking to add another Veterinarian, either part time or full time, to work with and promote our feline friendly and canine fear-free mission.
Since 1981, Winding Hill Veterinary Clinic has been serving the unique concerns of pet owners throughout Harrisburg and Central Pennsylvania area. We provide full-service, comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals. We are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), and Veterinary Information Network (VIN). We offer a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house laboratory testing and radiology. Our Mechanicsburg animal hospital features a well-stocked pharmacy, surgical suite, radiology suite, and a closely-supervised hospitalization area.
We proudly sponsor the Last Chance Fund, which cares for abused and neglected, unowned companion animals. We also sponsor Summit Search and Rescue, a non-profit agency that provides mantrailing bloodhounds to assist local agencies in locating missing individuals.

The Associate veterinarian is an integral member of the healthcare team. It is important that this candidate can communicate compassionately and effectively with clients so that all treatment options are presented to work with the clients on making informed decisions about the care for their pet. This position will require working closely with the Client Care Team to deliver an amazing client experience and and satisfaction. A consistent quality of medical care to our patients is our top priority!
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
· DVM or VMD degree
· A current Pennsylvania license or ability to become licensed in PA
· Refined surgical skills a plus
· A desire to work with clients delivering consistent quality of medical care to our patients
This position includes regular day, evening and rotational Saturday Shifts. We offer a competitive salary, paid time off, 401k, health insurance as well as continuing education allowance.
