Sunnycrest Animal Care Center is in Fullerton, California. Fullerton is located about 22 miles from Los Angeles. If you enjoy a night out with friends, then you’ll love Fullerton’s downtown, which has abundant nightlife. The city also has over fifty parks and the famous Fullerton Arboretum with twenty-six acres of unusual, rare plants and sculpted gardens to enjoy. Practice Overview
Sunnycrest Animal Care Center is a four-doctor private practice that fosters a family-like atmosphere. Our goal is to provide high-quality care while being transparent and fair to our clients, which has enabled us to build an exceptional reputation in our community. We have new, modern equipment to offer the best in comprehensive care for our patients, including diagnosis and care for illnesses, surgery, digital X-rays, ultrasound, and acupuncture to name a few. Our team comprises of a diverse group of veterinarians and support staff professionals who bring their love for animals to work with them every day. We enjoy a collaborative working environment and doctors within the hospital regularly consult with each other on cases. What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Mentor, guide, and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Being licensed or able to become licensed in the state of California required
- A minimum of two years of experience is preferred; open to New Grads with prior experience as a veterinary technician is required
- Experience or interest in performing basic soft tissue surgeries is required
- Efficient surgeon and interested in internal medicine is a PLUS
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning
- A positive attitude with a desire to empower those around you
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
