We are seeking three (3) skilled licensed Veterinary Technologists / Technicians to join our team. You will be paid a yearly salary. Year end bonuses will be paid based on performance through the year.
Job brief
We are seeking licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team and provide preventative care and critical care to animals in need. You will also provide care before and after surgery.
You will work with veterinarians and other staff members to ensure animals in our facilities receive excellent care.

Schedule:
- 12 hour shift

Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role
- Strong affinity for animals
- Outstanding people skills
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Veterinary

- You must work well with staff members
- Triaging patients and taking their vital signs and acquiring patient history and other information from clients
- Assisting with diagnostic procedures
- Discussing treatment plans, estimates, and payment options with clients
- Communicating with clients and staff members
- Caring for sick and animal recovery as needed.
- Adding in preventative care
- Acquire cephalic, saphenous, and jugular blood samples
- Insert IV catheters and monitor anesthesia, ventilators, and fluid therapy.
- Operate autoclaves sterilizers
- Process specimens in the in-house laboratory and submit specimens to outside laboratories
- Calculate medication dosages and provide dosage instructions for clients
- Enter patients’ service charges into the computer database and keep accurate patient records
