What You’ll Be Working On
Provide the highest quality patient care: examine, diagnose, and treat patients presented on the emergency service according to the current standards of veterinary medicine throughout your shift
Create a treatment plan (estimate) for every client whose pet is examined
Collaborate with their Specialists and involve them in the care of patients; communicate effectively with referring veterinarians and complete medical records within 36-hours of patients discharge
Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care; go above and beyond to provide great service
Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork with all team members
Identify opportunities to teach and mentor those around you

Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
Be licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Arizona
Completed a veterinary internship is highly desired
Five or more years emergency experience is preferred, mentorship available for new graduates
Must be Fear Free Certified or willing to become
Interest to work night shift preferred, willing to work some weekends required
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning and mentoring
