We seek to hold ourselves to a higher standard and practice our version of veterinary medicine based in ethical, honest and outcome-based philosophies. We love high level internal medicine, surgery, dentistry and thorough diagnostic workups – all with an emphasis on client education and relationship building.
We are a private practice team of 50+ individuals, including 7 DVMs (TAMU, OSU, Ross, Illinois, OVC) graduating between 2012 and 2022. We collaborate, enjoy laughter and bantering fun each and every day. We strive to constantly challenge our existing knowledge and skillsets to be the best DVMs for ourselves, our clients and especially our patients. In order to meet this goal, our team attends and incorporates practical and theoretical based CE. We keep our medical treatment plans and education in line with current practices that our profession defines.
We love to teach, each other and our future colleagues. There’s not a day that goes by that a student isn’t in our practices, sharing in our discovery and love for our amazing profession.
We support each other. When it’s been an extra hard day, someone’s under the weather, or family needs arise, "Go home doc" - we’ve got you covered. It’s a reciprocal, treat others as you want to be treated environment.
Our management philosophy is servant based. No one individual is above any task or responsibility, we have our roles, but we help our peers out.
We have a very low staff turnover - typically only folks who don’t share our team’s philosophies or tend towards toxic/drama attitudes. Heck, many staffers that have left on good terms for other fields, have come back and re-joined us.
We seek to serve our community. We offer Urgent Care/ER services on an after-hours basis, in order to provide our patients with the help they need. We share this equally with one night a week and 1 in 6 weekends (sat -sun) oncall and there is always a colleague available to jump in and help out when it’s needed. To balance the oncall time, you receive the Monday after your weekend oncall off and that following weekend is a 3 day weekend for you. The rest of your weeks you have a set day off and every other weekend.
We pay based on a salary structure ranging from 95K-150K reflective of experience, desired schedule and responsibilities. Additional production income for Urgent Care/ER services is available.
We prioritize our hospital's camaraderie, and interpersonal relationships. As such, all applicants will be required to spend a minimum of 1.5-2 days at our practice. We do this to ensure you are the right fit for us. This is a two way streak, and we want you to know that our team and community is the right fit for you as well!
Possess a valid Texas Veterinary License or ability to obtain one, graduate of AVMA accredited CVM, ability for USDA Level II accreditation.
