Mountain View Animal Hospital is a small animal practice that provides quality medicine in a compassionate environment. We have an opening for a full-time associate veterinarian to help grow our three-doctor well established practice. We are in the beautiful Northeast near lakes and mountains which is great for the outdoor-loving naturalist. We consider ourselves a “lifestyle clinic” that values work-life balance, no emergency or on-call, and a comfortable work schedule. We have a well-trained dedicated staff devoted to practicing the highest standard of patient care and exceptional customer service, with a strong emphasis on preventive and wellness care, client communication, and developing lasting relationships with our clients and patients.
What We Can Offer:
Our full-service facility includes tools to allow you to practice quality medicine with a terrific team of experienced support staff. We boast a full array of equipment including digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics (CBC, diagnostic panel), and laser therapy. We also provide integrative options which include chiropractic, acupuncture, rehabilitation, and Chinese Herbal options.
All veterinarians are welcome to apply, as mentoring is part of our investment in our employees and the veterinary community. The ideal DVM is a strong communicator who is thorough, enjoys educating clients, and has a strong desire to help us take our practice to the next level. Interest in integrative modalities is a plus and can be mentored in the certification process.

We also provide generous compensation with the option for relocation costs, production bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including:
Medical, dental, and vision insurance with shared premiums
Practice-sponsored short-term disability and life insurance
401(k) eligibility with employer match

We provide small animal medicine and surgery including some exotic animal options. We also provide some alternative options such as Acupuncture and Chiropractics for our patients. Our goal is to provide high-quality medicine and surgery in a compassionate and caring environment for our clients.
Our team of healthcare professionals include veterinarians, certified technicians, trained assistants, receptionists, and kennel staff. Our dedicated staff is our greatest asset. Each member of our staff pursues continuing education to keep current on the latest medical advances and techniques. We also provide monthly staff training to encourage everyone to work as a team, stay up to date on the newest trends and recommendations. These meetings are aimed at developing our staff in ways that will enhance our ability to serve you, our clients, in the best ways possible.
The hospital contains a full laboratory allowing us to do blood work, urinalysis, and cytology. There is a well-stocked pharmacy, digital radiographs, ultrasound, dental and surgical areas as well. Most diagnostic and treatment procedures can be handled within the hospital.
We believe in building a lasting ...relationship with our clients and their animal companions. We also believe in caring for your pet in the most caring and dedicated manner possible.
