In addition, the trails of Camp Creek Greenway and the numerous area parks provide many opportunities for biking, running, hiking, and outdoor exploring. North Georgia is also home to many lakes and the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains for water sports and beautiful views. Gwinnett County has an excellent school system (public and private), with Brookwood and Parkview being the local school districts.
