Applicants must have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. The associate veterinarian's schedule will be a 4-day work week and 2 Saturdays (8-12) a month. Salary is based off of experience.

Responsibilities:
Medical and surgical care of patients through evaluation, diagnosis, anesthesia, general surgery, cytology, patient care, radiology, ultrasound and client education. You will direct other staff members in patient and client care and coordinate invoicing, hospitalization and the dispensing of medication.
Surgery may include spaying, castration, laceration repair, tumor excision, eyelid surgery, cystotomy, exploratory, splenectomy, gastrotomy, enterotomy, enucleation, C-section, hernia repair and dental extractions. We refer out, all of our orthopedic, neurosurgical or thoracic surgeries.
Our clinic is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, In-house Heska CBC, chemistry, Thyroid equipment. Drug Compounding Room. We also use a variety of reference labs.
We would ask you to work a minimum of 36 hours per week. 8-hour days, 4 days a week, and every other Saturday, half day. No emergency overnight patients, all referred and sent to surrounding area emergency hospitals.
